Basically I have emailed Alistair who is the Marketing Assistant on Habbo Hotel UK, regarding a possible partnership with the celebrity visits to the hotel.

As of late the artists have been limited to in-game text chat only, wouldn't it be awesome for them to be able to stream a live interview before or during their habbo hotel promotional visit!? Well, I for one sure think it would be great and that's why I want to get in on the act and hopefully create a type of promotion partnership between HabboHut and Habbo Hotel.

The basic idea is whilst the artist is in the offices in London, Habbo will connect them up to whatever program and either they will be interviewed live on air by Habbo Staff OR by one of the HabboHut DJs, this hasn't been decided as of yet. It all depends on if Habbo wish to take this further.

HabboHut would fly back up the ranks of Habbo Hotel radio like an eagle of freedom if this went ahead. We would not only have promotional benefits from being promoted by Habbo Hotel for the live on-air interview with the aritsts, but also from just having these high-ranked celebrities on HabboHut is enough to get international hotels interested and back with HabboHut.

I think this idea is realistic and possibly will go ahead, if all goes to plan. I will keep you guys updated once/if Alistair replies x) Hopefully he will. Or I will set the hounds on him.

Sounds like a great idea to me, lets hope Habbo like it or parts of it anyway. Its similar to what we used to have when Dnd used to only dj on HabboHut.com and they got famous people onto their shows, getting 100's of listeners to HabboHut.com. And by the sounds of it UK has plenty more famous people coming, in the last month alone we have had mcfly, faithless, area15, 365, akon and next week Jamelia. I also hear that U2 will be coming soon too and hosting a pub quiz in the Dirty Duck pub.

Well, if they've got any sense they will go with it .. it has no flaws.. it's a positive addition to the artists visit to the hotel, being able to get them live on air!

This used to be done on HabboHut quite frequently.

I'm sure they'll probably want their own staff to conduct the interview, so that they can control the Habbo experience for the celebrities, creating a positive image of their product, but I would hope that they are open to starting this trend again.

The only problem now im thinking about is, I read on a news website that Habbo are introducing new music features in the new year, which I think will include things such as music interviews, radio shows, downloadable music, etc. Not sure if its true, but it was a article about the growth of Habbo, and how they are trying to beat myspace and youtube with their HabboHome and new music features.

So if Habbo do have this planned they wont want them on fansites, if they have them on their own site.
