I'm going to share with you a story that I made up a while back, based on what I have seen on the hotel. I sent it to Habbo Hotel UK for them to put it in the Newsie, but they didn't put it in. I didn't want it to be of waste, so I thought I'll put it on here, I found it in my files because I saved it back then. So here it is, sorry if you get bored...
STAYING SAFE IN GAME ROOMS
One day, the sky was blue and the hotel was orange, as usual. A nice and poor girl, Katie, signed into the hotel, she thought. . "Hm. . . I feel like Falling Furni" So she clicked on "Gaming Rooms" and entered a "Falling Furni! WIN BIG!" room. When she got there. .the room was packed with rares and loads of furniture! And the owner was a Habbo Club member. She thought. . "Well! He's RICH! If I win, Im sure to get a GREAT prize!" So, she waited in line for around 15 minutes. She was VERY excited and when the game began, she was doing very well indeed, until one round, when she lost. The owner asked her, "Pay to Stay, Kick, Or Rev?"
Katie thought for one minute and decided that she would pay to stay with her only piece of furniture (a mini pura fridge, of which took her a long time to earn.) She traded it and then the next and last round came. Was she going to win? "Ready? 3,2,1 GO!" the owner shouted.
YES! She won! When the owner put up the trade window, she waited for several seconds before seeing a duck in the trade box. The owner accepted it. Katie was FURIOUS! If she accepts it, she would have lost 3 creds! To Katie, this was a lot! But, she had no other choice than to accept.
THE LESSON:
Owners of games might not turn out to be as great as what they seem to be. Many people get friends to buy HC for them, just to make them look rich enough for people to trust them. So next time you fancy a game, look at the owner! First make sure that the person running the game is the actual owner of the room, then its your choice to decide whether you trust him/her or not. If you follow this everytime you go in any room such as Falling Furni, Races etc. and you should be okay!
SAYING: Don't judge a book by it's cover
HABBO SAYING: Don't judge a person by its room/clothes. You never know who it be infront of the computer screen!
