Heres a Tutorial I made to help Habbo's make there DJ Application using Sam Broadcaster.

1) Load up SAM
2) Make a *NEW* WMA Encoder, set to 64KBPS by clicking on the right text
3) Click on Stream Archive
4) Click "Save Stream to file".
4) Click on the Folder button, and navigate to the place where you want to save it in.
5) In the bit where it says the folder, highlight it all till you get till the end, and choose a file name for it. You must add .mp3 to the end, otherwise the attachement will not work using the DJ Application provided on the forum.
6) Click Ok.

Make sure you have a CLEAR VOICE, You know what your going to say (roughly right it in a .txt document - Notepad for example) and just hope the best!

Goodluck!

EDIT: Thanks to Mac for this extra bit of the thread!

Just in case someone doesn't have SAM or cannot download, here's a quick tutorial.

1. Download Audacity here for free. Includes download for Windows, Mac, and Linux.
2. Install Audacity.
3. Open Audacity.
4. Click the red circle "Record" button.
5. Record your voice and application.
6. If you wish, click the Project tab and import any audio you wish. (i.e. songs, noises, effects, etc.)
7. Once you are finished, click File>>Export as MP3 or WAV. Save it as whatever you like .mp3 or .wav.
8. Just in case, click File>>Save Project As and save it as what you'd like .aup.
9. You're done! Upload your mp3 or WAV to your application e-mail and there you have it, a simple audio application.

I've repped Sunbathing and I commend mac on supporting. I can't give mac another rep until I spread some more! :P

This should help the people that are having problems with making their voice clip!

To record a voice clip without installing anything do the following...

1) Start -> All Programs -> Accesories -> Entertainment -> Sound Recorder

2) Click the red button and pretend to DJ into your microphone :)

3) File -> Save As

Audacity isn't used for Jingles (although it can be). In this thread, we're talking about Audacity being used to record your DJ APPLICATION for a internet radio site, therefore its for personal use.

In reply to your question, yes producing Jingles isn't a personal matter, however why would you want to make it on Audacity in the first place? A Great program for producing Jingles is Cool Edit Pro which now has changed over to Adobes hands and has changed names.

Hope this answered your question!

when making a application, be yourself its the best advice I could give :) Don't put on those weird "radio" accents either LOL

I have to say im really bad for a "radio accent" I always seem to go into it when djing, and in real life or even on the phone I dont talk anything like that.

Lol, yeah it's good when people use an accent when they are DJing or something, it makes the show interesting, shows enthusiasm and gets people in.
