My April Fools joke...

Today I decided I wanted to fool the Habbos on my console that where online, so I came up with the following. I sent this message to everyone online:

Hello :) I am currently in discussion with Sulake as I am up for the hotel managers position against 3 other people, for Habbo UK. I need you to send an email to Habbo in recommendation for me, if you can spare the time.

I was flooded with responses and after sending my "APRIL FOOLS" message, even more messages.

Unfortunately, I felt bad about fooling them. So, I apologised :)

What did you do for April Fools, or how did you get fooled? :D

I like that xD I made a similar one: I sent to everybody that I won a throne and that 3 chosen habbos from my list would also get one. I said first to reply. 59 messages were sent to me within about 2 minutes.

Later on, I went into a casino that was full and I said the same: First 3 to pm get a throne each. 19 friends requests.

My site (yourhabbo.co.uk) did a funny one, we said our manager had left, and that we had a new manager called Erin, then all night and morning this new manager just posted total rubbish around the site, like "OMGZ Im nu staff, FR me on Habbo! Now omgz!", then she banned some staff and fired a few.

When I came online this evening I had loads of messages from staff complaining about her :P

I didn't really do anything for April Fools, I didn't take much notice of it this year. Though, I did see people taking part in the spirit and were pranking a few people.

I told a few people that I was leaving the internet for good, and even though it was April Fools Day a lot of them still managed to fall for it.

After finding out I wasn't leaving, a lot of people we're telling me the joke was on me since I'd fooled them after midday.. but I don't see why we have to stop fooling people after midday as there are no rules stating that you can only fool people up until that time.

I think that somewhere along the line someone got fooled really badly after noon and made up a rumour that you can't fool after midday, which has caught on and been a so called rule ever since. Poor guy must have been fooled pretty badly if that was the case, LOL!

They always say it should stop at midday, not sure why, then again im not sure why april fools day was "invented". you could always say "Well its before midday in USA" or something, with the timezones.

Didn't do any this year, but last year I did one, I said to everyone on my console, 'My pass is *random letters here (not rly my pass)* first one 2 get it can have it!'

Someone must of reported the message and I got permed for it lol. But I appealed it and got unbanned =]

Last Friday (the last day before april fools, because it was today [sunday]) at school their were a few pranks, really funny actually.

In the cafeteria about 5 mice were let go and a bag of crickets, all the girls started screaming once they saw the rats, it WAS HILARIOUS.

Another one later in the day a person walked into a random class with the fire hose and started spraying in the classroom, didn't see it but sounded funny.

And at the end of the day their were a bunch of eggs thrown over the bus into the crowd of people, that was really funny actually, 1 cracked over someones head, ROFL.

I didn't really do anything for april fools, like normal. But yesterday I saw someone get fooled and it was a really good one, I thought. It was on Habbo and Matt tricked Rosie, I won't go into detail but it was really funny and even suprised me, I couldn't believe it. :P

Didn't do anything but one of my friends told me one the kid she was babysitting did. The kid's parents were coffee addicts and had to have their coffee every morning. The kid switched the sugar with salt.

Simple yet efficient.
