A lot of kerfuffle about habbox lately , With it being removed from the official fansites list , and making articles about people I know , and there rare trade prices dominating the whole of Habbo , there rude staff , and all the other lies they tell. What Has Habbox Done Wrong ?

- The Rare Trade Prices - Never Have been true , Made up By the day. spoiled trading rares for everyone

- The Rudeness of the staff - Thinking they are superior to everyone , saying they are the best fansite in every production/article

What does everyone think of Habbox ?

They are very up themselves...And a lot of them are rude. I know quite a few and they're all nice, but some i've seen around are mean :mad:
They've made way too many rumours and lies about people, when they haven't even had a single piece of evidnece backing up their point, just take the Cheezy2 artcile for example!

How do they even know the rare values? Where do they get the information from and why do they have it like 1 duck, why can't it be 1 coin???

Same with hcs, they are worth 60, so just calculate, and its all wierd with things like 2.2 hcs. How does that make sense?

Habbox people are good people. I don't see anything wrong with them, the only thing I didn't like was the article. That was obviously an excuse because they didn't win. People can get like that sometimes. Remember, in the words of Db, at the end of the day, were not enemies.

I have never liked habbox lol, maybe because I used to work for Habboom, but I have never liked them and I know lately lots of people are arguing about habbox. I have seen a funny site about habbox, but I wont post the address lol incase I get in trouble.

I don't think this post is right at all.. At the end of your day its YOUR opinion. If you ran habbox would you like people on forums on habbo etc saying horrible things about your site? I think not.. Habbox is going through a rough spot I guess at the moment, and they dont need people making it worse.

But in all fairness they did bring it upon themselves, that's why it was taken off the official list, and that's why a huge nu,ber have turned against it.

Indeed. I feel HabboHut and Habbox could be really good allies, but with all this bad publicity going around... They're digging themselves into a hole.

Why Habbox was removed from the fansite list Apparently this is the reason that Habbox has been removed from the Official Fansite list, copied from the email sent by Callie:

Images hosted on your site intended to cause harrassment and ridicule to other Habbo users (please see attached picture)

The file was located at URL:
http://www.habbox.com/images/Max/Alts/Habbos/petl-dog-1.gif and although it has since been removed links were posted all over your news comments, while you cannot control comments posted you can control what is hosted as an image on your site and as you can see from the URL it was hosted by Habbox.
The fansite rules clearly state that all sites must follow the Habbo Way, harrasment of another Habbo is against that Habbo Way. Your site was removed from the Official list because of this image.

This is very strange, and not just because Callie doesn't know how to spell harass (twice). She claims that Habbox was removed only because of this picture was hosted by us. But it is impossible for me to control every image that is hosted by us. For example all reporters and writers can upload pictures, and the same goes for everybody posting on our forum. Of course I would never give permission for a picture like this to be hosted on Habbox, and it would be removed right away. It's even more remarkable, as nowhere on Habbox was there a link to this picture. In fact, I don't even know if this picture was actually ever hosted by us, because as Callie says herself, by the time she sent the email "it has since been removed". I can't even check if the picture was really ever there???

It seems obvious that Callie was just looking for an excuse to remove us from the list. She has often said that Habbox is her favourite fansite, but it's hard to believe that she was ever telling the truth.27 Feb 2005 19:01 pm by sierk
Now if youg o on www.impetuous.net (http://www.impetuous.net/) they have closed,probably because of all of this with Habbox. Sierk says he'snever seen these images, so I'm going to post on the forum with the images. Thanks booz :)
