Wearing shoes inside the house

Do you wear your shoes inside your house or not?

I don't wear my shoes inside the house, idk its just most Canadian take off their shoes at the door, its like a comon Canadian cultre

I never wear my shoes inside. I either leave them at the door, or I take them off and carry them to my room.

I wear them to my room then take them off, we have wooden floors so my parents aren't really bothered, but mostly we wear slippers around the house.

i put on/take my shoes off at the front door, but inside cause we have different carpet which we aren't really bothered, but if i forget something ill do and get it in my shoes if i have them

I don't unless like I'm just about to go to school and worn my shoes and forgot something yeah. I can't be bothered taking them off and going back in when it's such a short time.

@Drew, you take off your shoes and put them in your room? I just take them off and leave them in the garage coz when you come to my house it's like outside > garage > inside.. else I would leave my shoes outside, no one's going to steal them.. unless they're expensive ones. haha.

Downstairs, you can keep your shoes on if they are clean.
Upstairs, take them off.

When you host parties, (over 50 people)
You can't really tell everyone to take of their shoes..
It gets messy :)
And sometimes smelly.

no I never wear my shoes in the house! We never use our front door so we always use the back-door and there's a porch so we leave them there but sometimes the foxes get them :(

If someone wore shoes in my house I would kick them out. But then again noone does that in Sweden. NOONE. It only leads to two things: 1. filth and 2. nasty feet.

I take them off usualy when I get in the house, its very rare I would walk around in them around the house, I find it more "homely" to not wear them inside.

our family doesnt really care.
we have tiled and wooden floors so its easily swept up.
i usually always have socks on till bed time.
im summer i go sock and shoeless cause i only where thongs lol <<To people who think thongs are the underware no. the footware :P

But we keep our shoes in our rooms. no strict rule on YOU MUST NOT HAVE SHOES ON
we dont care lol.

When i go to other peoples houses i always take them off at the door i feel rude otherwise lol.
