Tell what's the difference between this site and http://hupitgaming.com ? Don't waste my time saying, "It's primarily Call of Duty based" because they have a Call of Duty category and they offer an entire service which I'm assuming all you have is the forum..

At this time we only have a forum. Before we got nuts we want to see if we will get the userbase.

We are diffente beacuse we just dont offer COD HELP. We offer all other games help. We wont have ads all over the place like that site does. Also they rally do not have places for you to put out of gameing crap. Witch we do. We will also have a way beater skin then they do. We will also posts. ON top we have beater softwear then them witch will make the site more easy to look around. Who knows we might put some guides ups. Also we are aimed at COD not say blackops.

"Posts" is a noun. You cannot "will" a noun. Come on - it's a simple matter of sentence structure.

Wait a second, I thought you were aimed at COD and a bunch of other games?
Regardless, the other site has a section for all COD games. Black Ops is just one of the several sub-forums to the COD forum.

To be honest ads aren't that annoying and the reason they have them is because their user base is so big they need money to support the site and stop it crashing. By saying you have better, software and layouts is a load of crap, most people don't care that much about the layout, I keep bringing hupitgaming into this because it's a successful forum that's already got what you're making, unless you can create something better than what they have, then majority of people will look at your site with a user base of 100 or below and compare it to sites with a bigger user base.

Also I think you should take into mind Call of Duty: Elite which will be coming out with Modern Warfare 3, that's probably going to have a forum as well as all the stats etc. and then people are going to go to that because their profile will show all their stats. The problem there is that Call of Duty doesn't have a public API like BattleField does.

I don't see the point in making a forum for cod. You have to have something that will make people stop using big gamer sites to use yours. So id say make something amazing no one else has or just make a forum on a more unique subject.

You cannot open a site and expect to get traffic because, "once the user base increases we'll make something unique". You need to open the site with the main part being the unique part and then the forum there obvious enough for them to see and register.

Agreed. We aren't arguing, we're clearly pointing out that if you want to develop a site that will attract people them you need something special and or different.
