Yeah but, shouldn't this month's campaign start in at least 10 days?

We could do the countdown/buildup to it?

It's a secret ;)
That's not how campaign advertisement works.
So... If it's a secret why would you just tell us that. Now everyone is going to ask and someone is going spill the beans..
Nice secret keeping.
I wouldn't accept any details unless it is provided by some form of Senior Staff (Events TL/Events Manager) when it comes to Campaigns as 9/10 the other staff don't explain the full details even tho it's there for them.
I think a War Hero's theme would be great although I think isn't Anzac Day celebrated in Gallipoli, New Zealand and Australia only? Probably wrong.

Yes - hence the name ANZAC - 'Australia and New Zealand Army Corps'

Dear Lord, we were promised a campaign days ago. I could have sworn our General Manager himself said that there would be a campaign launching in a few days, and that was about a week ago. I'm not trying to be an ass, but honestly, you need to get a new freakin' Events Manager. For the past few campaigns, I have seen minimal, if any, advertisements promoting the campaigns; and when there were campaigns, they were the same things we've done in the past.
If the team can't think of good ideas, then you need a manager who can. Currently, it seems like everyone is slacking when it comes to CREATIVE ideas. Oh, and for the people who suggested having an ANZAC day... THAT'S NOT A CAMPAIGN. That's a single day, a single event, representing only a fraction of our community. A campaign is something that lasts several days, requires several events, has some sort of basic storyline, and most importantly, includes everyone. I really don't think anyone from the US, UK, or CA really cares much about the New Zealand Army Corps.
Here's an idea: UTILIZE THE CARNIVAL. HabboHut spend over 2,500 coins on a carnival and I don't see anything supporting it. Regardless of whether you advocated for the carnival or not, it's there, and it's always going to be there (unless of course we want to start another 10-page legal argument where HabboHut specifically stated in November that all funds donated towards the carnival account will be used solely for the carnival account). Create a campaign for that; I'm sure it's not that hard.
Hey, even if you're out of ideas and you're stubbornly too ignorant to use the carnival, LOOK THROUGH THE EVENTS TEAM THREADS. There are dozens of campaigns that have been, for the most part, planned out. All you need to do is a few logistics here and there. The ideas have never been implemented yet and they're actually good ideas, because, you know, they were developed when the team actually had creative people on the team (like Josh, Levi, Kieran, Collin, etc.).
I'm sick of these excuses. It's not that hard to do a campaign. We've had good campaigns that have been adequately advertised with nearly every single Events Manager in the past. Surely, over the years, we've had some low-activity times like we have now. But that was never an excuse for a lame campaign; so why let it be an excuse now?

Rememberance day is celebrated in the UK, Australia, Europe and America (I'm pretty sure, correct me if I'm wrong) it is a pretty international holiday :P
Not trying to say it's better than ANZAC day, but it's more familiar to most of the community.
yeah but my point was why not just celebrate both so everyones included? its not that hard, put up an announcement on each day.
It's obviously hard for the current events team.

First off, let's get that stick out of your bum.
We NEVER did a campaign for Memorial Day, so please don't act like you know what you're talking about.
The only thing RELATED to something like that was Remembrance Day, which represents the soldiers of all of our 5 main countries: Australia, New Zealand, Canada, UK, and the US. Therefore, no group was left out. Regardless, that wasn't even a campaign; it was merely an event and, if I remember correctly, a colored name, which was done by Senior Management, not the Events Team.
ANZAC day, however, relates specifically and exclusively to New Zealand and Australia.

I never even said the word campaign, well done for making an ass out of yourself Kyle. Remembrance day doesn't include everyone, it's not even recognised here. I hadn't heard of it till I joined this forum. So yeah nah not everyone is included in that one, hence saying why not just celebrate both. I don't see what the big deal is about it, it's not like our site is overwhelmed with events.
I don't give a flying **** stick about habbohuts campaigns, im just throwing it out there while Anzac day was brought up that perhaps this year we'd celebrate both and recognise all o the soldiers who fought and who lost their lives, not just a fragment of them. No need to turn it into a **** flinging match.
I'm really sick of you and how you turn everything into a massive deal. I gave my 2 cents so stfu about it coz you are not going to change my opinion no matter how much you date things and twist my words. I'm not the only one who's over it either. Just sayin. It would be nice to have a conversation with you thy didn't involve holding my tongue for fear of you trying to debate on it. What kind of friendship involves a list of safe words to use......
Also any spelling errors are autocorrect a I'm on my phone and it lags on the forum.

Meg, I did agree with what you are saying - why not just celebrate both? But it looks like it is too much hassle and Kyle is right,
Remembrance Day, which represents the soldiers of all of our 5 main countries: Australia, New Zealand, Canada, UK, and the US. Remembrance Day does cover all of our main HabboHut countries and we all have an idea of what Remembrance Day is so I personally believe the campaign should be about Remembrance Day or called Remembrance/ANZAC Campaign?

Seems that this campaign you're discussing about is those event that goes over a specific period on a month, and this means a lots of planning and building on what will come on the planning campaign. So hopefully Habbohut Event Management are planning to something fun for us :D

Rememberance day commemorates soldiers from all countries from the allied side. It's just NZ doesn't really celebrate it.
Anyway, I don't really care and wont get involved any further in the argument.

I'm not asking for a campaign for it, I'm just asking for Habbohut to recognise and celebrate both days instead of just one. Remembrance Day doesn't include New Zealand and if we're celebrating a sensitive issue like honouring soldiers who died/fought in war then we should really celebrate both days and not just one, it's not even a big deal it's just a matter of posting a thread about it on each day.

This. Which is why all I ask is that ANZAC Day is given the same recognition, it's not a big ask or a big deal ;s

As an ex-events senior, I don't believe it would be a hassle to write up a short announcement and maybe give something like a coloured username. If required, I could even right up something on the homepage if given new manager back :P

Trust me when I saw that I will see to it that there is at least the recognition of the soldiers that are remembered on both days. Whether it is just a small announcement or something larger.
All im asking for is a small announcement in recognition, lol.
