Ok, so yeah i'm new here. I plan on applying to be a DJ next time they send out the applications or whatever. But I have a few questions.

1. If and When you get accepted, do tell you which programs you need and teach you how to use them with habbohut and stuff?

2. Is there a certain age you have to be? Or is there no age limit?

Yeah, so those are my questions.
Thanks,

I think you'd use Sam2 or Winamp.
And I don't think there is a age cutoff. Basically if you're 13+ (11, maybe) is what I'd think the age limit would be.

yes its Sam or Winamp, they also give you a mini guide on how to use it, but its best if you know how to use it first, also with age I would think aslong as you are old enough to use the hotel (so 11 in the UK case) you should be alright.

I don't think there is a minimum age, just be old enough to play Habbo (11+).

And, if you were applying to be a DJ, wouldn't you already know which programs to use... ?

Anyway, I've got WinAmp, so I'd recommend that. Quite easy to use.

They give you a short, mini-guide on how to use shoutcast, so it's a good idea to have the basics down first. They don't tell you anything about how to use SAM, but that is much more confusing.

Also, as others have said, you just have to be old enough to play habbohotel.

Very impressed that you actually READ the FAQs before asking this questions! There are some users who should hang around you more!

Use Shoutcast and Winamp. They can be obtained from www.winamp.com, and they are quite easy to use. Wow. Props for actually reading the FAQs. Also, as a heads-up, HabboHut requires a sound clip as part of your DJ Application.

If you have a Mac, Nicecast should be sufficient.

Nicecast has everything Winamp & Shoutcast has, or Sam. It's basically the same thing, but for Mac (with much more).

In Nicecast, you can connect to a radio easily, like Winamp.

Scott. You forgot the super gay part.

If you don't pay 40.00 for it, and use the trial, they purposly throw super horrible static in.

Use MacAmp. I doo. And because Scott is a stupid noob at MacAmp he doesn't use it, he doesnt know how to convert his songs in AIFF's or OGG's.

I think you'd need to know how to use the programmes before you become a DJ, prior to being accepted. Seeing as you have to record yourself for an application :P *I think*

You don't need to use a specific DJing software to record yourself for applying to be a DJ. Simply just go to the Voice Recorder on entertainment which is usually on accessories.
