HabboHut Forum Rules

Although the administrators and moderators of HabboHut Forum will attempt to keep all objectionable messages off this forum, it is impossible for us to review all messages. All messages express the views of the author, and neither the owners of HabboHut Forum, nor Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd. (developers of vBulletin) will be held responsible for the content of any message.

By agreeing to these rules, you warrant that you will not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-oriented, hateful, threatening, or otherwise violative of any laws.

The owners of HabboHut Forum reserve the right to remove, edit, move or close any thread for any reason.

In addition to these rules, the following rules apply:

Users
U1: Multiple Accounts - Do not create multiple accounts, any accounts seen to belong to an existing account will be banned.
U2: Evading a Ban - Do not, in any way, avoid a ban that has been issued. Accounts are banned for a reason - all ban appeals should be submitted using the forum’s contact us forum. All accounts that are made with the purpose of evading a ban will be banned permanently.
U3: Reporting Posts - Please report any content you see that is breaking our rules and allow our moderating team to handle it. You can do this by clicking the small hazard sign that can be found on each post or private message. Having said that, do not abuse the ‘post report’ feature. Spamming or purposely abusing the feature will result in an infraction.
U4: Moderator Instructions - Forum Moderators are respected members of the Habbohut Staff Team. To perform their jobs and uphold our rules moderators may give instructions via private message or in moderator messages within posts. You are not allowed to reverse a moderators action, regardless of your opinion on their action. This could be in the form of editing, reposting and recreating content. If you have a problem with a moderators action, contact the forum manager.

Personal Information
P1: Personal Information not belonging to you - It’s against our rules to release personal information belonging to others. This includes (but is not limited to) passwords, e-mail addresses, messenger contacts, personal photos, location information and phone numbers. (See P2 for rules concerning the publishing of your own Personal Information)
P2: Personal Information belonging to you - It’s acceptable to publish your own personal details. This includes (but is not limited to) photos, social networking accounts and e-mail address. All published content cannot be used for identification purposes. All content can be removed upon request to our Moderation Team.

Content Creation
C1: Content Creation - Do not post content or links to websites, videos, or images that are unsafe or inappropriate in any way. Our Moderators reserve the right to remove any material posted throughout the site. Please remember the following when posting content: Do not post links to site’s containing viruses, trojans, spyware or anything that breaks any of the Forum Rules or the Fansite Way. You can link and display your website in the Website Showcase forum only, this includes any other forums or fansites, but do not advertise your website or forum with the intent of hiring staff or gaining more users. The Showcase section of the forum is there for you to display your website and gain quality feedback about your website, not to advertise. Moderate swearing or low level violent video’s and images are allowed provided all content is within a “spoiler” tag alerting users who may become offended by such content. If the content in question is not in the spoiler tag, your content will be moderated and action may be taken against your account.
C2: Images, signatures and avatars - Please do not publish images that are exceedingly large or obscene. This can be in posts, private messages, signatures or avatars. Management and our Moderators will determine what’s appropriate using discretion. If you have questions about this rule, please contact our Forum Manager.

Social Conduct
S1: Swearing and Offensive Terms - Certain explicit words on our forums are filters, please do not swear or avoid the filter. There are no penalties for using filtered chat, provided it is not used in an ongoing case. Ongoing cases of filtered chat will not be tolerated, regardless of whether you are aiming your swearing at another user. You cannot be warned or infracted for anything that is not in our filter, however we will maintain it at our own discretion, without notice.
S2: Insulting others and rude behaviour - It is not allowed to personally attack any user of Habbohut (website and forum). There is nothing wrong with having an opinion (whether good or bad) and discussing that opinion constructively (provide substance through valid points), but personally attacking others by using personal insults, comments attacking another's intelligence or discriminating their personal beliefs will not be tolerated. Respect their views and opinions, even if you disagree with them.
Please publish all ideas, opinions and vents into the “Ideas and Opinions” forum. All content published outside this forum will be moved into this forum.
S3: Bullying, Flaming and Harassment - We do not tolerate bullying in any capacity. This is not limited to but includes threads, posts, visitor messages, private messages, and any content you create for this website. You are not allowed to defame, attack, harass, slander or put down the personal character of another.
S4: Spam and Off Topic Remarks - Spam and off topic remarks are only allowed in the Spam board. All comments deemed to be spam and off topic will be deleted and all users who continually post off-topic messages will be warned or infracted. Threads or posts made in the incorrect forum will be simply moved without punishment.
S5: Reputation System - We reserve the right to remove any given reputation for any users account. This includes pointless and abusive remarks made through reputation comments.
S6: Chatbox - Do not spam the chatbox, spamming is considered four sequential posts in a row or using excessively large images or text to flood the chatbox. Please note that all rules still apply within the Chatbox.

Specific Forum Guidelines
F1: Specific Forum Rules and Guidelines – You are expected to follow the specific rules of a particular forum category. You can find these rules by looking for stuck threads by members of management. You are expected to abide by these guidelines even though they might not be detailed here.

Illegal Activity
I1: Hacking and Scripting - Do not attempt to brute force, hack, or script any site or feature on Habbohut.com (this includes the main website, and all attached sub-directories).
I2: Attachments - Do not upload executable files (Windows - .exe, Mac - .dmg). Please post a link to the featured website instead.

Fansite Way
We be observe the fansite way, which means we must not:
Offer Hacking, Scripting or Editing Programs.
Publish any unreleased news regarding updates, new furni or features without Sulake's prior permission.
Ask visitors for their Habbo passwords or personal information such as telephone numbers or home address.
Charge users for premium services such as VIP access.
Act as an affiliate for a commercial entity, nor offer merchandise (including Habbo furni) or services for sale.
Offer to buy, sell or trade Habbo accounts for real money or Habbo Credits. Break the law or talk others into breaking it.
Publish any material which may be offensive to other users or contains sexual content.
Publish any personal information, pictures, video or documents belonging to Sulake Corporation Oy.
Use slander or any other form of bullying in order to harass other people. Disrupt the operation of any other official or unofficial fansite nor disrupt the Hotel community.
Disrupt the operation of any other official or unofficial fansite nor disrupt the Hotel community.
Replicate any part of the Habbo Hotel service ('Retro' Hotels, Habbo Home clones etc).
Represent that your site is approved by or affiliated with Sulake Corporation Oy or that any other content on your site is approved by or affiliated with Sulake Corporation Oy.

Terms of Use

Roles within the Site
Administrators - Habbohut’s administration team (including management members) have the ability and reserve the right to access your account remotely, and monitor anything you do specifically. This includes private messages, reputation comments, and general account details stored within our databases.
Moderators - Our team of moderators enforce our rules and therefore have tools that allow them to monitor, edit and delete content published on Habbohut. The moderating team will use their tools to enforce Habbohut’s published rules only.

Reporting - The forum has a built in reporting feature and we encourage you to use that if you see content that offends you, or breaks any of the rules published above.
Privacy - Any information submitted to Habbohut will be kept confidential and will not be shared with anyone outside of our administration and moderating team, except in a security-related situation or when legally required. Privacy covers all areas of the website (including all sub-websites), the forums, radio and our staff panel(s).
Forum Etiquette - Upon registration, you agree to use this forum appropriately. This means that you are here to post constructively and not for the sole purpose of causing problems. The moderation and management teams reserve the right to review anyone's account to resolve any suspicious behaviour that might be in violation of this rule. If it is clear that your purpose is only to be abusive, break the rules, or create negative developments, your account will be moderated which may include warnings, infractions, limited chat or bans.
Non-published Rules - Approval can be sought to warn or infract users, without the rule being specifically published. Approvals will be given only by the website’s owner.

Disclaimers
Forum Rules - Habbohut reserves the right to edit, remove or add any forum rules as we see fit. A public forum announcement will be made when the forum rules are updated - this is not a requirement, but will be made to alert all users.
Donations (Paypal and In-game) - All resources donated to Habbohut become the property of Habbohut. There is no guarantee that donated resources will be dedicated to one project as plans change, however, all decisions surrounding donations will be made at senior management’s discretion.
Donator Subscriptions - Habbohut administrators reserve the right to end donator subscriptions and/or make changes to the donation system without notice.
